01Problem
Automotive shops depend on their customers' memory to know when a vehicle is due for service.
02Context
Oil change shops, repair shops, service centers and mechanics in Costa Rica — and the drivers who want a clear history of their vehicle.
03My role
- Product definition for both sides of the experience: businesses and drivers.
- Architecture, UI/UX and full-stack implementation.
- Deployment and iterative optimization.
04Solution
- Motora Business: customers & vehicles, service history, upcoming maintenance and follow-up with WhatsApp.
- Motora Personal: free for drivers, with mileage and alerts.
05Decisions
01
Two editions, one history
Businesses and drivers look at the same maintenance story from different sides, so the service history becomes useful to both.
02
Follow-up where customers already are
Follow-up runs through WhatsApp; Pro adds automated WhatsApp, reminders and advanced metrics.
03
Start free
A free plan for businesses and a free personal edition lower the barrier to adoption; Pro is published at ₡9,900 per month.
06Verifiable result
- Live product with public sign-up for businesses and drivers.
- Public pricing: Free and Pro.
No metrics are published until they can be verified.
